WWE Smackdown! Opener:
The show begins with shots of a briefcase and a ladder under it as the music of Edge hits and he makes his way to the ring. He salutes the crowd, looks up at the briefcase then grabs a microphone. He has a lot of jeers from the crowd as he talks about winning the first ever Money in the Bank Ladder Match. He promotes the fact that with winning the match one can challenge a champion anywhere and anytime as a You Suck chant begins. He gathers more boos as he says he beat John Cena because of it and he's won more ladder matches than all 7 of his opponents. The same thing is going to happen again whether we like it or not as the music of Matt Hardy hits and he makes his way down to the ring staring at Edge. In the ring Hardy removes his gear as Edge says that he's supposed to be fighting Hardy again tonight but it's not going to happen because he's not risking injury against a low life. Edge has a replacement though and scarily, the music of Khali hits and he makes his way down toward the ring to totally no reaction from the crowd as Edge looks on with a huge smile on his face.

Matt Hardy vs. The Great Khali
Khali hasn't completed entering the ring as yet when Matt Hardy goes after him. Khali with a big right hand and we start to get a Hardy chant. Khali chokes Hardy as we get another chant.
Khali grabs Hardy around the throat and we're getting ready for a choke slam here when all of a sudden we get the pyros of Kane and the lights turn red as there is a huge pop from the crowd. Khali looks towards the stage but no sign of Kane. Edge is looking on as Khali leaves the ring and starts heading up the rampway. We hear the laugh of Kane and there he is on the Tron as he continues to laugh and shows us the hook from his movie.
Winner - No Contest
Back from commercial and Teddy Long is on the phone booking a restaurant for two and asking them to keep the champagne cold. He gets off the phone as Kristal wanders in. He was making reservations. Teddy knows how hard she's been interviewing, how hard she's been competing so tonight he thought a bit of dinner and bit of dancing as Kristal puts her arms around his neck. Kristal asks how she looks for her match? Teddy says she looks tight, very tight as Kristal kisses him on the cheek and wanders off and Long is rapt. JBL says all we need is the freakin' Love Boat around here.

Mr. Kennedy vs. Finlay
The music of Mr. Kennedy hits and he makes his way to the ring pointing at the Wrestlemania sign as he enters the ring and calls down the microphone. He points out that hanging from the ceiling is his briefcase because at Wrestlemania on Sunday he is going to become...Mr. Money in the Bank! And he mounts the ropes...Bank! What do we have now? It's Finlay and he comes down to the ring, shillelagh in hand and these two are to do battle tonight.
The match starts with both wrestlers shaping up to each other, locking up for a long moment, still locked up as they roll out of the ring. They finally break as the hat of JBL is squashed in the process. Back in the ring and another lock up this is finally broken with Finlay being put in a head lock. A bit of mat based wrestling as Finlay locks in a face lock until Kennedy hits him in the back of the head and then into the turnbuckle and again.
Kennedy sinks the boots in then walks away and runs in smashing the boot against the face of Finlay and then an attempted pin. The referee is checking on Finlay as Kennedy goes to the corner and tries to remove the top turnbuckle but is hit from behind by Finlay who recovers and rushes in and clubs him in the head! Finlay now with an uppercut that sends Kennedy reeling and Finlay removes the turnbuckle which is noticed by the referee who tries to put it back on. Finlay approaches Kennedy who hits him in the midsection then rolls him up for an attempted pin. Kennedy wriggles out and pushes Finlay face first into the exposed top turnbuckle! He picks him up over his shoulders and delivers a reverse Samoan drop!
A count of two and then again as Kennedy exits the ring then reaches under the ring looking for something. He can't find what he's looking for though as Finlay drop kicks him from inside the ring before rolling out and going after him! Finlay tosses him back into the ring then sets him up on the apron and hits him against the throat. Finlay now whips Kennedy into the ropes and charges him but Kennedy moves out of the way and Finlay hits shoulder first into the steel ring post. Kennedy rolls him up and a two count again and Kennedy leaves the ring again and grabs the ladder from outside the ring and pushes it inside the ring and picks it up and tries to throw it at Finlay who manages to duck underneath it! Finlay grabs Kennedy and rams him back first into the corner with a shoulder block! Finlay now with a short arm clothesline as Lil' Bastard to a huge cheer comes out from under the ring and drags out a little ladder which he throws inside the ring!
Finlay is distracting the referee by trying to move the big ladder out of the ring which allows Lil' Bastard to a big cheer from the crowd to set up his little ladder, climb onto the top of it and delivers his version of the Kenton Bomb onto Kennedy before pushing the ladder out of the ring and running away himself! Finlay picks up Kennedy, puts him over his shoulder and hits the Celtic Cross and this one is over!

JBL brings to us the greatest interview in sports entertainment history but to a huge cheer from the crowd and a stunned look on the face of JBL we get the music of Stone Cold Steve Austin and he makes his way to the ring and mounts all four corners of the ring and acknowledges the crowd. JBL looks on in disgust as Austin takes on the cheers of the crowd and then gives JBL a Stone Cold Stunner out of nowhere! He calls for beers from the crowd and drinks them then again and then yet again as we get a replay of the Stunner and then another replay. He stands over JBL and pours beer down the throat of JBL reviving him.
